Grab The Bull By The Horns and Let’s Ride!
Well it looks like things are really looking up for the BOSS program. Within the past month or so, we have recieved about 20 new members, and we’re still growing. So I guess there is a market for this thing after all!
You know, if I had never sent out those two e-mails to the American Council for the Blind and the National Federation of the Blind, BOSS would not be what it is today. It is all because of those two e-mails that were sent out that this whole thing got started in the first place. It just goes to show that if you do even the least amount of work; you can accomplishe a lot, and all that it really took to launch this puppy was just contacting two major organizations, and sending a whole slue of e-mails to each and every one of the chapters of those organizations. Sure it takes time to do that, but isn’t that all worth it? Well it was for BOSS, but what about you and your business?
Can you see yourself promoting your business in much the same fassion? Can you see yourself getting ahead of the game and coming out a winner instead of a total looser? Can you imagine yourself becoming a part of the BOSS program and learning all this great stuff that can help you to develop the business of your dreams?
You see my friend, sending out those e-mails to those two organizations was only the start of something that ended up growing bigger and bigger, and now look where we are. We are a full-fledged membership organization complete with a professionally designed membership site, but beyond that, we are a successful organization churning out successful marketers right and left; one member at a time.
I am pleased at what we have accomplished so far, but we have a very long way to go yet. Myself along with Jeff and Lori have grown this organization to what it is today and because of it, people are taking recognition and joining us. A matter of fact, many of our members have told me that this was a long time in coming.
Now I don’t know about you, but that really means a lot coming from a satisfied member. If we can offer the blind community one thing, it would be this; total independence from having to work for somebody else. Not that there’s anything wrong with working for somebody else, but as we all know, having your own business on the Internet means much more independence in the long run. You’re not tied to a boss, or a hectic schedule which involves fighting public transportation, bad weather and utterly rude and abnoxious people who make you end up with a very bad day along with a very bad attitude.
Let’s face it, who wants to fight public transportation, bad weather and rude people. Is your day really worth all that? Is your life really worth that? Is it really worth working for that man/woman really worth all the time and energy and rude people that you put up with just to make a few measly bucks?
Again, I am not knocking traditional work because somebody has to do it, but does it really have to be you? Why can’t you be the acception to the rule and start something of your own?
