Warren Yarnall Decides To promote My Product

This is a historical moment for me today.  Why you ask?  Well as of today, Sunday April 19, 2009, a well-known Internet marketer by the name of Warren Yarnall has decided to promote my e-book entitled, Proven Tips Tools and Tactics To Have Your Own Info Product to his list.

Now I don’t know about you, but this is very exciting to me because for the first time, another Internet marketer other than Jeff and Lori are promoting a product that I created and worked hard on.

Don’t get me wrong, Jeff and Lori are excellent coaches and mentors.  It is just that they have taught me well, and they continue to do so through the BOSS program.  Because of what they had taught me, I am able to get something marketed and sold online.

Now this isn’t the first time that this book was sold because when it was first published, I made $114 in sales, and that’s when I was selling it for only $7.  So why am I telling you this?

Well first off, the reason why I am telling you is because you can accomplish this too with your own products.  You see, it really isn’t all that hard to do, but the main thing is; is that you must be persistant, and take immediate action.  That’s the key to success online.

If you’re a BOSS member, then this should be something that you should have a look at.  No, not the product, but look at the fact that we can make money online.  I have already done it, and so can you.

Now if you’re not a BOSS member and you are reading this, let me tell you that what I am saying here is not hype, or misleading in any way whatsoever.  I am telling you the complete, honest truth.  No, I am not going to show you screenshots of my earnings because that really isn’t the ethical thing to do in this business.  I don’t feel that I should flash in your face; screenshots of money made just to brag and show off because that’s just not professional.

Making money online is a real challenge, but I can honestly tell you that it really isn’t as hard as you think that it is.  Sure it is hard work, and you have to do something in order to get something from it, but that’s the key.  You must do something first before you can expect anything back in return.

Jeff and Lori have taught me well, and they continue to do so.  I myself, along with them offer you this program so that you too can learn the techniques and strategies that I use to make money online.

Several of our other members have made money from their own businesses, and this is only the beginning.  We’ve barely begun this journey because come july 2009, the BOSS program will be 2 years old.

Let me share something with you here that is a bit statistical.  About 1% of people who join any Internet marketing group take action on what they’re given, or taught.  That’s a really low number, but let me share with you about the BOSS program’s percentage rates.  They’re at 8%, which is extremely high and unheard of in the IM world.  No, this is not an exaduration, or something that is made up.  It is the honest truth.

At the time of this writing, we have about 67 members, and 8% of them are taking action.  Notice that I didn’t say that 8% were making money with their own businesses.  Just 8% are doing what they need to do to get onto the right path to success.

That means that within the other Internet marketing groups there’s something seriously wrong, and no, it doesn’t have to do with what’s being taught, but rather; it has to do with the people who attend these live conferences.  You see many people who attend these things will buy up everything that is in the back of the room, take it home and let it sit, and never ever do anything with it.  However, that’s not the case with the BOSS program.

That’s because many of our people are taking action and using what they’re being taught.  They’re not just sitting on their rears twittling their thumbs wishing and hoping to make money online. They’re doing something about it.  They’re taking affirmative action; which is what everyone else in these other marketing groups should be doing if they really want a business online.

Just the simple act of taking action is enough to start building momentum.  The more momentum you have behind you, the more successful you become but that all starts with good coaches and teachers in this market.

You need the best in order to get the best, and that’s what the BOSS program offfers.  It simply offers any blind or visually impaired person who joins the best that Internet marketing can give with nothing held back.

As co-founder of the BOSS program, I can honestly attest to the fact that we take pride and care in what we do.  I have helped many people in our program, and I continue to do so even as I write this.  The biggest challenge in marketing online is simply taking action.  That is perhaps one of the most crutial steps that anyone can take towards their success because without action; there is no success whatsoever.

This business doesn’t appear out of thin air like many people think and believe.  It takes guts, determination, work, and affirmative action to get the ball rolling in the right direction.

Sure you’re going to have setbacks along the way, but don’t we all?  There are going to be times when you might think that you will just throw in the towl, but that’s where we will come in.

We will be there for you, and we will keep you from throwing in that perverbial towel.  Our whole focus is upon seeing you succeed with your own business on the Internet and that’s what we’re bound and determined to do.

So, if you’re blind or visually impaired, and you think that this might be for you, then click the link below to register.  We’d love to have you.

Remember, making money online really isn’t all that hard to do.  It just takes determination and a whole lot of work, but you have to be willing to take up the challenge and meet it with expectations of success.

BOSS Member promotes with video

BOSS member John Smith created a great video to promote his site. Be sure to check out his site and the info on Survival Shelter–Inexpensive Geodesic Domes.

Grab The Bull By The Horns and Let’s Ride!

Well it looks like things are really looking up for the BOSS program.  Within the past month or so, we have recieved about 20 new members, and we’re still growing.  So I guess there is a market for this thing after all!

You know, if I had never sent out those two e-mails to the American Council for the Blind and the National Federation of the Blind, BOSS  would not be what it is today.  It is all because of those two e-mails that were sent out that this whole thing got started in the first place.  It just goes to show that if you do even the least amount of work; you can accomplishe a lot, and all that it really took to launch this puppy was just contacting two major organizations, and sending a whole slue of e-mails to each and every one of the chapters of those organizations.  Sure it takes time to do that, but isn’t that all worth it?  Well it was for BOSS, but what about you and your business?

Can you see yourself promoting your business in much the same fassion?  Can you see yourself getting ahead of the game and coming out a winner instead of a total looser?  Can you imagine yourself becoming a part of the BOSS program and learning all this great stuff that can help you to develop the business of your dreams?

You see my friend, sending out those e-mails to those two organizations was only the start of something that ended up growing bigger and bigger, and now look where we are.  We are a full-fledged membership organization complete with a professionally designed membership site, but beyond that, we are a successful organization churning out successful marketers right and left; one member at a time.

I am pleased at what we have accomplished so far, but we have a very long way to go yet.  Myself along with Jeff and Lori have grown this organization to what it is today and because of it, people are taking recognition and joining us.  A matter of fact, many of our members have told me that this was a long time in coming.

Now I don’t know about you, but that really means a lot coming from a satisfied member.  If we can offer the blind community one thing, it would be this; total independence from having to work for somebody else.  Not that there’s anything wrong with working for somebody else, but as we all know, having your own business on the Internet means much more independence in the long run.  You’re not tied to a boss, or a hectic schedule which involves fighting public transportation, bad weather and utterly rude and abnoxious people who make you end up with a very bad day along with a very bad attitude.

Let’s face it, who wants to fight public transportation, bad weather and rude people.  Is your day really worth all that?  Is your life really worth that?  Is it really worth working for that man/woman really worth all the time and energy and rude people that you put up with just to make a few measly bucks?

Again, I am not knocking traditional work because somebody has to do it, but does it really have to be you?  Why can’t you be the acception to the rule and start something of your own?  Well if you’re blind or visually impaired and you’re reading this post; then you can through the BOSS program!  Just check us out here below.

So get ready to stay in the saddle, and ride that wild bull and come out a winner

Is Braille Dead, Or Can It Be Revived?

Jordan Gilmer has a degenerative condition that eventually will leave him completely blind. But as a child, his teachers did not emphasize Braille, the
system of reading in which a series of raised dots signify letters of the alphabet.

Instead, they insisted he use what little vision he had to read print. By the third grade, he was falling behind in his schoolwork.

"They gave him Braille instruction, but they didn’t tell us how to get Braille books, and they didn’t want him using it during the day," said Jordan’s mother,
Carrie Gilmer of Minneapolis. Teachers said Braille would be "a thing he uses way off in the far distant future, and don’t worry about it."

That experience is common: Fewer than 10 percent of the 1.3 million legally blind people in
the United States
read Braille, and just 10 percent of blind children are learning it, according to a report released Thursday by the National Federation of the Blind, which
is based in Baltimore.

By comparison, at the height of its use in the 1950s, more than half the nation’s blind children were learning Braille. Today, Braille is considered by
many to be too difficult, too outdated, a last resort.

Instead, teachers ask students to rely on audio texts, voice-recognition software or other technology. And teachers who know Braille often must shuttle
between schools, resulting in haphazard instruction, the report says.

"You can find good teachers of the blind in America, but you can’t find good programs," said Marc Maurer, the group’s president. "There is not a commitment
to this population that is at all significant almost anywhere."

Using technology as a substitute for Braille leaves blind people illiterate, the federation said, citing studies that show blind people who know Braille
are more likely to earn advanced degrees, find good jobs and live independently.

"It’s really sad that so many kids are being shortchanged," said Debby Brackett of Stuart, Fla., who pressured schools to provide capable Braille teachers
for her 12-year-old daughter, Winona.

One study found that 44 percent of participants who grew up reading Braille were unemployed, compared with 77 percent for those who relied on print. Overall,
blind adults face 70 percent unemployment.

The federation’s report pulled together existing research on Braille literacy, and its authors acknowledge that not enough research has been done. The 10
percent figure comes from federal statistics gathered by the American Printing House for the Blind, a company that develops products for the visually impaired.

The federation also did some original research, including a survey of 500 people that found the ability to read Braille correlated with higher levels of
education, a higher likelihood of employment and higher income.

The report coincides with the 200th birthday of Louis Braille, the Frenchman who invented the Braille code as a teenager. Resistance to his system was immediate;
at one point, the director of Braille’s school burned the books he and his classmates had transcribed. The school did not want its blind students becoming
too independent; it made money by selling crafts they produced.

The system caught on, but began declining in the 1960s along with the widespread integration of blind children into public schools. It has continued with
the advent of technology that some believe makes Braille obsolete.

"Back in about 1970 or so, I was heading to college, and somebody said to me, ‘Now that you’ve got the tape recorder, everything will be all right.’ In
the early 1980s, somebody else said, ‘Now that you’ve got a talking computer, everything will be all right,’" Maurer said. "They were both wrong. And the
current technology isn’t going to make everything all right unless I know how to put my hands on a page that has words on it and read them."

Audio books are no substitute, said Carlton Walker, an attorney and the mother of a legally blind girl from McConnellsburg, Pa. Walker once met a blind
teenager who had only listened to audio books; the teen was shocked to discover that "Once upon a time" was four separate words.

Walker also had to lobby teachers to provide Braille for her 8-year-old daughter, Anna, instead of just large-print books.

"At 3 years old, Anna could compete with very large letters. When you get older, you can’t compete," Walker said.

Walker once asked a teacher, "’What are you going to do when she’s reading Dickens?’ She said, ‘Well, we’ll just go to audio then.’ If that were good enough
for everybody, why do we spend millions of dollars teaching people to read?"

Gilmer, now an 18-year-old aspiring lawyer, worked on his Braille in a summer program when he was in middle school and can now read 125 words a minute,
up from his previously rate, an excruciatingly slow 20 words a minute.

"Just try it," Carrie Gilmer said. "Go get a paragraph, get a stopwatch and try to read 20 words a minute. Try and read that slow and see how frustrating
it is."

Fluent Braille readers can read 200 words a minute or more, the federation says.

Carrie Gilmer is president of a parents’ group within the federation for the blind. She believes poor or haphazard instruction is largely responsible for
the decline in Braille literacy, but she says sometimes teachers push Braille only to meet resistance from parents.

"They’re afraid of their child looking blind, not fitting in," Gilmer said.

The report outlines ambitious goals for reversing the trend, including lobbying all 50 states to require teachers of blind children to be certified in Braille
instruction by 2015. But its immediate goal is to simply make people aware that there’s no substitute for Braille. It’s not just a tool to help people
function — it can bring joy, Maurer said.

"The concept of reading Braille for fun is a thing that lots of people don’t know," Maurer said. "And yet I do this every day. I love the beautiful, orderly
lines of words that convey a different idea that can stimulate me or make me excited or sad. … This is what we’re trying to convey."

No I personally am not a Braille user, but I can fully understand the need for learning Braille.  It is much like the need for learning print.  When you read Braille, you get to see exactly how the words are formed, plus how they’re spelled and used in sentences, paragraphs and other ways that are not mentioned here.

The problem with Braille books is that they’re too large to be carried around.  The Bible, which takes up only one book in standard print; takes many volumes in Braille, and is rather expensive to own.  With today’s current technology, there is no reason why a Braille tablet device couldn’t be invented that would resemble a braille page with a refreshable screen much like the refreshable Braille displays on many adaptive devices for the blind.

This special Braille tablet would be the same size as a sheet of Braille paper and have a screen the same size which would display an entire Braille page from an SD card, or built-im memory.  The technology already exists for digital Braille because there are translation devices that are built into the many devices that are currently being used by the blind that translate text into Braille dots, both in grade 1 and grade 2 Braille.  So having a tablet sized device that represents and entire Braille page that digitally produces the Braille dots would be a great way to reintroduce the reading of Braille to many of Today’s blind readers.  There would be a series of buttons at the bottom of the device for navigation through the file, such as backward and forward to act as page turning devices.  The Braille tablet could resemble a Braille book, but a very thin one indeed. That way, the user could store litterally thousands upon thousands of books in the device, and still be able to read a Braille book much like he or she would if they were reading a non-digitized version of that same book.

This I think would be the revolution in Braille because it would strongly encourage newly blind individuals to begin reading Braille without the bother of those very large, cumbersome Braille books.  The device would accept plain text files, word documents, pdf documents and other text related documents into it and instantly translate that material into either grade 1, or grade 2 braille.

The device would run off of long lasting batteries with the option of being powered by wall outlet.  When plugged into the wall outlet, it owuld charge up for external use away from home, or the office.

As far as media storage goes, the device could have its own internal storage, or use external storage such as an SD card for material.  What a device like this would do for students in school, is it would instantly translate any textual information directly into grade 1, or grade 2 Braille for the student to read in class.  Litterally thousands of books could be stored on removable media, thus allowing the individual to have at their disposal all the material they would need for study, or leisure.

A device like this would hopefully spark a real interest in learning Braille, and improving upon Braille literacy.  So this is one way that modern technology could be used to bring back the love of reading Braille once again.  That way, Louis Braille’s invention would never be put to waste and gone by the wayside.

Legally Blind Man Foils Attack On Woman

A legally blind Missouri man who we’ll call Jerry, heard a disturbance from a neighboring apartment, and went to investigate.  He kicked in the door to only startle the would be rapist.  When the police arrived, the woman said that she did not recognize the man in her apartment.

The police arrested the 45 year-old man and charged him with burglery.  The legally blind man who kicked in the door has no vision in his left eye and limited vision in his right.

So you see, it just goes to show that those who are blind, or visually challenged in any way can and do defend their sighted peers from harm.  That was a very corageous act and could have ended up much worse, especially for the blind man who had kicked in the door of that apartment.  What if the guy had a gun, or had attacked the blind man instead?  Woosh! that was offly close!  Tht could have ended up a real disaster.

So please, whatever you do; be very careful when approaching anything that is out of the ordinary because it could be dangerous for you in the end.  That guy survived, but it could have been much worse for him if the 45 year-old man had other motives other than raping the woman.  However, nevertheless, the blind man was recognized as a hero, and should be treated as such because after all; he did save the woman’s life from harm.

When Touch Doesn’t Work For The Blind

Stevie Wonder: Touch-screens alienate blind

Motown icon, advocates encourage CES vendors to consider blind needs
By Sinead Carew

updated 11:32 a.m. CT, Fri., Jan. 9, 2009
NEW YORK -

The craze for touch-screen gadgets, sparked by Apple Inc’s popular iPhone, is raising worries that a whole generation of consumer electronics will be out of the reach of the blind.
Motown icon Stevie Wonder and other advocates came to the world’s biggest gadget fest, the annual
Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week, to convince vendors to consider the needs of the blind.

Wonder told a CES event that his wishlist included a car he could drive — which he acknowledged was
probably "a ways away" — and a Sirius XM satellite radio he could operate.
"If you can take those few steps further, you can give us the excitement, the pleasure and the freedom of
being a part of it," said the famed musician.

Wonder said some companies had managed to make their products more accessible to the blind, sometimes
without even meaning to. He cited an iPod music player and Research in Motion’s BlackBerry as gadgets he
likes to use.
Advocates argue that if product designers take into account blind needs, they would make electronics that are
easier to use for the sighted as well.

The good news is that manufacturers do not need to put large sums of money into making products
accessible, nor would they have to forsake innovation, said Chris Danielsen, a spokesman for the National
Federation For The Blind.
"We don’t want to hold up technological progress," he said. "What we’re saying is, think about the interface
and set it up in such a way that it’s simple …. The simpler you make the user interface of a product, it’s going
to reach more people sighted or blind."

Touch screens

With the popularity of touch screens, once simple products such as televisions and stereos have become
difficult for blind people to use as they often require navigation of multiple menus that need to be seen to be
used effectively.

"That’s an increasing problem with new digital devices. It’s easy to add feature after feature that’s buried
under menu after submenu," said Mike Starling, chief technology officer of National Public Radio, which is
working on accessible options.
Manufacturers have been putting touch screens in everything from calculators and watches to computers and
music players.

Sendero Group President Mike May, who is blind, joked, "Can I ski 60 miles an hour downhill? Yes. Use a flat
panel microwave? No." Sendero makes GPS navigational devices that have an audio output for the blind.
There are also screen readers that give an audio reading of a phone’s menu. But Anne Taylor, director of
access technologies at the National Federation for the Blind, says they do not yet help her to use a touchscreen
phone.

She said the ability to use a device without needing to look at it could help sighted people who are driving or
older people whose eyesight is starting to deteriorate.

While blind users can buy screen-reading software for $300 upward, it tends to only work on certain phones,
often the most expensive smartphones. Sendero said accessible technology is often expensive, and about 70
percent of the U.S. blind population is unemployed.

Taylor is using CES as a forum to present vendors a set of suggestions for product design that she sees
benefiting both sighted and blind consumers.
For example, manufacturers could include an easy-to-use start-over button, different sounds for different
menus, and controls with good tactile feedback.

Progress

Ahead of the show, there were some signs that vendors, while unlikely to give up on the touch-screen trend,
may be more ready to consider consumers with disabilities.
Developers at Google Inc are working on ways to make touch-screen phones, including those based on its own
Android mobile software, usable for blind people.

National Public Radio announced a special radio receiver technology and software that would connect a digital
radio to a dynamic Braille generating device. It has also created special digital radio channels for readings of
the day’s newspapers.

Dice Electronics has made a prototype radio that incorporates the NPR technology, and NPR’s Starling hopes
this will become a commercial product in 2009.
Starling has also set up meetings at CES with other manufacturers in the hope they will include NPR’s
technology. He said responses to requests for information, which often go unheeded, are much more active
this year.

Some manufacturers could use their production facilities to make such devices, as demand weakens for more
mainstream products in the economic downturn, he said.
"I think in general there may be a view that accessibility may be becoming the new green," said Starling.

Turn Your MP3 Player Into An E-book Reader

It is always in my best interest to find quality resources for the BOSS program, and this post is no acception.  Today, I have two really great web sites that can help you to convert text, word and pdf documents into MP3 format.

Now the question may be, why would I want to do that?  Well for starters, it allows for you to read your documents without being tied to your computer.  You see, you can now turn any MP3 player into an E-book reader quite easily and affordibly.  A matter of fact, you can do it all for free!  Here are the web addresses below.

http://vozme.com/index.php?lang=en

http://spokentext.net

Now you may have to sign up for these in order to create files, but the signup process is free.  Also both of these sites are speech friendly and do work great with screen readers.  So take your text based e-books and turn them into spoken word, and turn your MP3 player into an audible e-book reader!

Note To Those Using The Victor Reader Stream

If you have one of these special devices, MP3 books work great on it.  You can navigate the MP3 file just as easily as a traditional book on the device.  So do yourself a favor and check out these two unique resources, and begin using them to educate yourself, or simply to have fun with your reading.

Working Towards Convention

Will BOSS be at this year’s American Council of the Blind Convention in Orlando Florida?  Who knows, but it is possible.  If you’re an ACB member, then this may be the news that you want to hear because if it all works out, Jeff and Lori, along with myself and my fiance may end up at the 2009 ACB convention in Orlando Florida promoting the BOSS program.

One of our members, Keith Bundy is going to work out the details with Lori and Jeff concerning them speaking at this year’s convention.  So what does this mean for BOSS?  Well it means a great deal because it will be our second biggest promotion.  Our first promotion was when we were getting ready to start BOSS, and I sent out e-mails to all the chapters of ACB, and NFB.

Going to this year’s convention in Orlando will be a huge milestone for the BOSS program, provided that everything works out like we want it to.  However, this is all still in the works, so we’re not sure if it is even going to happen just yet.  There are many details that must be worked out until everything is finalized.

However, in the meantime, our 2009 promotional campaign is still going on.  I plan to give each and every BOSS member a copy of our promotional CD so that they too can become a vital part of the promotion.  There’s lots of work to be done in this promotion, and that’s my job to insure that this promotional campaign goes as smooth as possible, and that our program gets the recognition that it deserves.

As Jeff and Lori do their part in promoting the BOSS program, I too will do my duties in this as well.  My job in this is to locate other organizations that cater to the blind and visually impaired.  I have crafted a basic e-mail that I use for e-mail promotion to these agencies, and it seams to work pretty well.  I have gotten a few responses from it, so I will continue to use it.

What makes this entire promotion thing so exciting is our brand new membership site which the BOSS program is so dependent upon.  Without this new site, the BOSS program as it is known today wouldn’t be in existance.  We needed this site to make the managing of the program that much easier for those who are responsible for running and managing it.

Not only that, but this new site makes the program look that much more professional than our first site did.  Our first site, though it was quite simplified, had its purpose, but it was time to advance further and use something that was more reliable and more professional.

Now when I promote the program, I am pleased to take people to our information page which is on our site.  The new site is what prompted me to create our promotional package in the first place.  So now that we have our promotional package, it can be used to spread the word about our program.  This promotional package alone makes the promotion of BOSS much easier.

Of course, there’s lots of work to be done when it comes to promoting a program such as this.  All those e-mails to send, promotional packages to send, and live promotion such as what Jeff, Lori and myself will be doing in Orlando, provided that it all works according to plan.

These are very exciting times because this is our second year this coming July.  That’s right, BOSS will be 2 years old.  HOwever, from all that we have learned, you would think that we’re actually much older than that, but it is all due to the fact that our members work so hard, and they’re focused and determined to make their successes work.

We’re moving fast and we will continue to do so so as long as there are people who are willing to take action and do what is required of them.  By going to Orlando this year, we will be able to show people just what our program is all about.  Hopefully we will get people excited and want to learn more about what we do.  Ultimately, we would love to get even more members into our program.  Isn’t that the reason why we plan to go to Orlando in the first place?

If you’re a BOSS member reading this, then picture this in your mind.  Imagine that it is Monday morning, the first day of the convention, and the general session has already begun.  You listen to a couple of speakers from other agencies and companies, and then the president of the American Council gets on the microphone and announces the next speakers, Jeff Wark, Lori Steffen and Donald Brown who are going to talk about their exciting program called the Blind Online Success System.

Ok, now imagine you sitting there in the audience and listening to what we have to tell you about our program.  You sit there on the edge of your seat, hanging on every word because you’re excited aboutt this brand new opportunity that will help the blind and visually impaired become successful business owners.  The more you hear, the more you want to join the program.

Does this sound like something that you would feel if you were there at the convention?  Well it could happen, provided that everything falls into place.  However, I can’t promise that this will happen, but since we started quite early, I feel that we stand a chance at speaking there.  I will definitely keep everyone posted as what is going on behind the scenes in the planning of this monumental event for BOSS.

2009 Promotion Has Begun In Ernist

Well Happy New Year to everyone reading this post today.  I sincerely hope that you have set some realistic goals for this new year, and I hope that you meet them.

Anyway, today I would like to let everyone know that we have begun our promotion in earnest!  Currently at the ttime of this writing, we’re doing promotion in two areas.  One is the Matilda Ziegler Magazine, which is a publication for the blind and visually impaired that turns 101 this year.  BOSS will be featured in the February issue.  The magazine comes in several formats such as Braille, E-mail, Podcast, 4 Track cassette, digital Braille, and on the Internet.  Click here below to visit the site of the Matilda Ziegler Magazine.

The other area of promotion is being done through a web site called, Work At Home Truth, which can be found at;

http://www.workathometruth.com

This site deals with work at home opportunities that are honest and ethical, and BOSS is located in the work at home opportunities section for disabled individuals, and underneath the section that deals with the blind and visually impaired.  If you go there, you will see BOSS on the site, along with some of our member web sites shown as examples.

This is only the beginning of  what I hope to be a very prosperous year for the BOSS program.  Prosperous in that our members make money with their businesses, an prosperous in that we gain new membership into our program.  The more that the program is promoted and the word gets out, the more members we will have, and the more successful businesses will be run and managed by blind and visually impaired people.

Let’s make 2009 our most profitable year yet!
